Hackathon Requirements

We’re seeking innovative Generative AI or RAG applications that take advantage of Intel's technologies. The hackathon will be held in the Red Hat OpenShift AI environment on AWS, powered by Intel Xeon Scalable Processors with Built-In Accelerators.

You can begin with the provided Intel OpenVINO examples, but your originality is key to making your project stand out!

What to Build
Create (or update) a Gen AI or RAG application that utilizes the Red Hat OpenShift AI environment on AWS, specifically leveraging Intel’s Xeon Processor AMX features.

Your submission must include:

A compelling text description detailing your project’s features and functionality.
At least one test script that demonstrates your project in action.
A screenshot showing the results of your test script and highlighting the use of the Intel OpenVINO model server and the Intel Xeon Processor AMX feature.
A screenshot of the platform supporting the Intel Xeon Processor AMX feature.
A link to your open-source code repository (licensed under Apache V2) for the judges to review.
A video (around 3 minutes) that walks through your submission. Upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video, and ensure it’s public.

Please note: Only Intel Partner Alliance and Red Hat Partner Program members are eligible for the Partner Prize.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Technological Implementation: Does the project demonstrate high-quality software development and fully leverage Intel & Red Hat AI technologies?
Design: Is the user experience well thought out?
Potential Impact: How significant is the project’s impact on its intended users? Can it be adapted for broader use cases?
Quality of Use Case: Is the project creative and unique, or does it improve significantly on existing concepts?
