Position: Supply Chain Undergraduate Rotational Development Program
Duration: 30 months

Program Overview:
This 30-month program offers rotations across Purchasing, Sourcing, and Commodity Management for 18 months, followed by a 12-month final placement. Participants will gain hands-on experience, leadership development, and mentoring opportunities. Applied Materials fosters a culture of innovation, inclusion, and impact within our global manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, negotiate prices, and execute orders to support manufacturing
Develop procurement strategies focused on cost, quality, and delivery timelines
Collaborate on commodity strategies across business units
Drive resolutions to supply chain issues related to cost, quality, or delivery
Present sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives to stakeholders
Perform Make vs. Buy analysis to aid in outsourcing decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
Nice to Have Skills:
Knowledge of statistics, data analytics, Python, SQL, SAS, or R
Compensation:
Salary range: $52,000 - $71,500
